“childhood disease, in our website,s” did not include smallpox but did include chickenpox.
Even the common cold killed off many.
In the rest of the world, these disease, in our website,s were common and everyone built up resistance. The American Indians had no such resistance. There were dideases that were endemic to the Native Americans that the invaders were killed by which were nothing to the indians.
